How can we identify the risks that are most relevant to us? How can we detect and recognise problems earlier -- and respond faster? How can we develop something new that makes a difference and is sustainable?
These are some of the most frequently asked questions: the early recognition of possible deviances from objectives ("risks") puts organisations and companies in a better position. Identifying those risks that are most relevant to the organisation is a smart way to focus on scarce resources. Solving a problem often requires to step back and look at the situation from a different angle. But how can this be done in a systematic yet creative way that invents something new and better that is more sustainable?
dickmann risk communication drc| has developed a tool that facilitates this disruptive and creative thinking and enables groups within organisations to systematically develop better solutions that make sense in their environment. The incubator workshop applies an epistemic methodology that builds on a variety of social science theories (e.g. positive deviance) and behavioural economics (e.g. decision making in groups) and provides a structured, systematic, interactive and collaborative process to gather and assess qualitative, context-sensitive information.
Outputs of these incubators are locally-informed, structured evidence that can be used to design interventions, to monitor progress and measure outcomes and impact.
A series of incubators both in the public and private sector are scheduled for 2017 and 2018.
